Arsenal have not made direct contact for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic yet, but they haven't been ruled out of a potential move in the future, according to Fabrizio Romano. It comes as the Gunners continue to be linked with a move for the Serbia international after previous interest in him.
That interest was back in January, where Mikel Arteta looked to bolster his attacking options going into the latter stages of the season. The 22-year-old was impressing at Fiorentina, but eventually snubbed a switch to north London for Turin in Serie A side Juventus on transfer deadline day.
While the striker has had some bright moments, the Bianconeri have continued to struggle under Massimiliano Allegri in the early stages of the season. The side currently sit eighth in the league, with only one win from their last five heading into the international break.

Add to that some concerns off the pitch, with the club reporting a record loss of €254.3million (£226million) for the 2021/22 financial year. While it is yet to be seen whether there will be a need to sell players as a result of this financial report, it could prove worrying when coupled up with their performances so far.
If they were to let players go, it could see Arsenal make their move for Vlahovic, having recently been linked with a swoop for the striker once again. However, according to Fabrizio Romano, there is yet to be direct contact between the two clubs over a potential switch.
"At the moment there’s absolutely nothing between Dusan Vlahovic and Arsenal," He told CaughtOffside. "We can’t predict the future but as of now there’s not even a direct contact."
While there is yet to be that contact, the transfer guru is yet to rule out the possibility of a move in the future, with the Gunners having been so keen to conclude a deal over the summer.
