A week of cheap meal deals is set to get under way across Durham with restaurants offering opportunities to dine out 'around the world' from as little as £10.
It's been announced that Durham Restaurant Week, which made its debut before the pandemic, will be back for a second helping at the end of the month with a range of special offers available from January 28 until February 4. And lucky diners will be able to pick from a cuisine including Turkish, Spanish, Mexican and Japanese.
A mix of restaurants, cafes and bars have signed up to take part in the event which is being hosted by business improvement district company Durham BID for a second year. The hope is that it will both help to beat the winter blues and encourage people to explore the local food scene.
