DUP minister Edwin Poots ' proposal to rename the headquarters of his Stormont department to mark the Queen's platinum jubilee "remains under consideration", officials have said.
The Agriculture Minister has been considering changing the name of Ballykelly House outside Limavady in Co Derry to "Jubilee House", Belfast Live revealed last month.
The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) had declined to comment at the time while the Assembly election campaign was continuing.

But two weeks on from the poll, the department has confirmed the plan and said Mr Poots is consulting with colleagues.
A spokeswoman said: "As one of the official headquarter buildings for the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs, Minister Poots has proposed to rename Ballykelly House to 'Jubilee House' in order to mark the occasion of the Queen's platinum jubilee.
"Minister Poots has sought the views of his ministerial colleagues in relation to this matter and it remains under consideration."
It had previously been suggested there could be a dispute over the proposed name change with the Department of Finance, but it has dismissed this.
A finance department spokesman said: "Ministers are entitled to take decisions within their remit and the Department of Finance has not proposed legal action in relation to this matter."
Sinn Féin, whose MLA Conor Murphy is Finance Minister, also insisted there were no objections from his department.
A party spokesman said: "The naming of DAERA buildings is a matter for DAERA. Department of Finance has not opposed this and has no interest in legal action on this matter."
DAERA had delayed confirming the plans after senior staff raised concerns about the pre-election period or "purdah", when government departments refrain from major announcements that could be construed as party political publicity.
A formal response had been drafted by department officials "for clearance" last month, according to internal correspondence obtained by Belfast Live through a Freedom of Information request.
But in an email to colleagues, a senior official said it would "seem like a new announcement".
Ballykelly House, a £21million facility opened 2018, is located on the former Shackleton Army Base in Co Derry on the banks of Lough Foyle.
Earlier this year the DUP accused Sinn Féin of disrespecting unionist culture and identity by blocking requests to mark Northern Ireland's centenary and the Queen's jubilee.
Unionist politicians had complained about the finance department refusing to allow a tree to be planted on the Stormont estate to mark the Queen's jubilee.
Mr Murphy had said it went against an existing policy of only allowing international events to be marked. However, he later announced plans to review the policy.
In February the Assembly Commission - which is made up of representatives of the main Stormont parties and has responsibility for Parliament Buildings - agreed to plant a tree in its grounds to mark the Queen's jubilee.
In 2016, Stormont's agriculture department was embroiled in a row over changing a boat's name from Irish to English.
The DUP's Michelle McIlveen, then Agriculture Minister, faced criticism when it emerged the patrol vessel's name 'Banríon Uladh' had been changed to its English translation 'Queen of Ulster'.
At the time the minister defended the name change, saying that her department has a "single-language policy".
The fisheries protection vessel was originally named by then Sinn Féin Agriculture Minister Michelle Gildernew after it was purchased in 2010.
