Dunnes Stores has confirmed two popular items, preferred by Vegetarians, will not be returning to shelves this Christmas.
The festive season is in full swing and as the big day approaches, many people across Ireland are scrambling to get all their last-minute shopping finished.
For most people, Christmas dinner is the star of the show on December 25 with succulent turkey, ham, roast spuds, stuffing, Brussels sprouts, and more - but for some, an alternative dinner is required.

Vegans and vegetarians will look forward to dinner with a Quorn roast and turkey. However, Dunnes Stores has announced that the meat alternative will not be available this year.
Speaking to a shopper on Twitter, a spokesperson for the retail giant said: "Thank you for the tweet. I wish to advise that the Quorn Roast is not ranged across our stores for 2022. I am sorry to disappoint you on this occasion."
They also told a separate Twitter user that Quorn Turkey wouldn't be coming back this year either.
However, you’ll have plenty of time to search the shelves for more alternatives as Dunnes Stores has announced extended opening hours in the final days coming up to Christmas.
However, the exact hours will depend on your location. For example, their Blanchardstown store will open until midnight on December 19 and 20, and until 2:00 am on December 21, 22, and 23.
All of their stores will close nationwide on Christmas Day and St Stephen's Day.
