Dunnes Stores has pulled a popular chicken product from sale over food safety fears.

An urgent recall notice has been issued for a batch of its ‘Ready To Cook Southern Fried Chicken Fillets’ due to the presence of salmonella.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland said: “Dunnes Stores is recalling the above batch of its 4 Ready To Cook Southern Fried Chicken Fillets due to the presence of Salmonella.
