Partick Thistle have been dealt another postponement blow after a pitch inspection canned tonight’s game at Dunfermline.
The Jags have already played three games less than most of their Scottish Championship promotion rivals after a raft of call-offs.
And their trip to East End Park has been added to their mammoth backlog of fixtures following the wintry weather sweeping the country.
A pitch inspection was arranged for 1pm and though SPFL bosses were eager to give the televised clash as much of a chance as possible of going ahead the waterlogged surface was deemed unplayable.
East End Park has been battered by Storms Dudley and Eunice with snow, sleet and rain forecast to continue until 5pm this evening.
Partick Thistle lie fifth in the table, eight points fewer than league leaders Abroath.
Dunfermline, meanwhile, are second bottom with manager John Hughes desperate to get some momentum going.
