Dune: Part Two hits theaters on March 1, and to say expectations are high would be a gross understatement. The sci-fi epic was supposed to release in fall of 2023, but Hollywood strikes pushed it into 2024. Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Austin Butler, Rebecca Ferguson and Florence Pugh headline the star-studded cast, and the early reviews are indicating that the sequel is a massive success.

Metacritic can be the toughest nut to crack with its weighted reviews, but Dune: Part Two has not only earned the “Must See” badge with 54 ratings, it’s continuing to climb.

Dune: Part Two has slightly dropped to a 95% with over 200 reviews, but we’re nitpicking at this point. Critics are overwhelmingly loving the sequel.

Unsurprisingly, the early indications are good across Letterboxd with over 25,000 five star reviews already recorded. Seems good!
