Dundee United boss Jim Goodwin spent last night in hospital after feeling unwell.
The Irishman is said to be feeling good, but could still miss tomorrow's game against Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.
Assistant manager Lee Sharp is on standby in case Goodwin does not make it to Ayrshire.
Sharp took today's press conference and said: “The manager wasn’t feeling well yesterday, he went to the hospital and they have kept him in for observation. I’ve spoken to him a couple of times but that’s as much as I know.
“He’s as frustrated as anyone because he wants to get out, be here today and be at the game tomorrow. But we’ll just have to see what happens, they’re running more tests.

“He’s in good spirits, giving me my instructions! I asked him how he was feeling and he said he feels great.
“I don’t know if he will be in the dugout, he wasn’t sure when I spoke to him. I think he’s hopeful he will be out today or tomorrow morning at the very latest. If he doesn’t make it, I’m sure I’ll have him in my ear somewhere.”
He added: The team was already picked, there were a couple of things we spoke about earlier in the week, a few debatable ones, but he already had the team in his head.
“The players trained as normal, they just got on with their work and prepared as we normally would for any game.
“I have had to step in before a couple of times, I think the last time was during Covid.
“It’s been when the manager has been in the stand suspended.
“We work that closely, he’s the boss and we know what he wants.”
