Dundee has been named as one of the cheapest places in Scotland to buy petrol.
The city sits third equal in the league table with an average price of £1.78 per litre.
It also scores well on how much petrol has increased in price in recent weeks.
The previous average price on 13 April was £1.59 totalling an increase of 11.7% over two months.
The figures were pulled together by experts at Admiral Car Insurance.
They calculated how much the average motorist is set to spend on petrol over the next 12 months, based on motorists travelling the UK average of 7,490 miles per year.
Some of the other key findings were-
Aberdeenshire and East Ayrshire have seen the highest petrol price hikes in Scotland over the last two months with petrol prices increasing an average of 16% or 26p per litre in both districts.
In Dumfries and Galloway and Stirling, petrol prices have hiked an average of 15.5% and 15.3%, respectively or 25p per litre.
In Angus petrol has increased an average of 14.9% in the last two months or 24p per litre.
The City of Glasgow had the lowest petrol price increases in Scotland in the last two months with petrol increasing by just 9.9% or 15p per litre.
In joint first place for the highest petrol prices per litre in Scotland are Dumfries and Galloway, Inverclyde, and East Dunbartonshire with average petrol prices of £1.86 per litre.
West Lothian is the cheapest area in Scotland to refuel with an average petrol price of £1.48 per litre which is about 39p less expensive per litre than the most expensive areas in Scotland to refuel.
