Dundalk bolster squad with swoop for Finnish midfielder

Dundalk HJK HJK Helsinki Lilywhites Stephen ODonnell

Dundalk have signed Johannes Yli-Kokko on loan from Finnish champions HJK Helsinki.

The attacking midfielder, 21, came onto Dundalk’s radar in the last week and goes straight into the squad for Friday’s clash at Bohemians.

Yli-Kokko was in HJK’s squad for their Europa League group games against Roma, Ludogrets and Real Betis last season.
