A medic from Dunblane has told of his work helping mums-to-be rescued from the rubble of the devastating earthquakes that struck Turkey and Syria.
Obstetrician Paul Holmes is part of the UK-Emergency Medical Team deployed to Turkey through the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).
Normally based at the Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert, Stirlingshire, Paul arrived in Turkey on February 11 and is working alongside Turkish medics at a joint MoD-FCDO field hospital in Turkoglu, southern Turkey.
