Dunbar High School Principal Marlon Ball was placed on paid administrative leave the day after the apparent suicide of the school’s longtime athletics director. He sued the Fayette County Public Schools District, claiming a district employee had linked the suspension to the death. Tuesday, each side announced the suit was settled. Ball’s attorney, Dale Golden, told WEKU News that his client has since moved to Tampa – with a letter from the superintendent saying he is eligible for rehire in the Fayette school system. Golden said the letter also states there were no conclusions of wrongdoing and no disciplinary action taken against his client. I’m John McGary.
