Dumfriesshire carer struck off after being convicted of attacking vulnerable resident

A 63-year-old carer who was convicted of attacking a vulnerable resident at a home has been struck off.

The Scottish Social Services Council axed Fiona Sewell from its register following a fitness to practice hearing.

Sewell, of Spedlin Avenue, Millhousebridge, had denied assaulting the man at Singleton Park Care Home, Courance in 2021.
