A Dumfries electrician has installed a free smoke alarm system for a vulnerable resident in Borgue.
Keith Johnstone of J H Johnstone and Sons fitted heat, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in the house after volunteering for the Alarm Ambassadors campaign.
The initiative is being run by the electrical trade association SELECT and those benefitting are vulnerable and older disabled people identified by Care and Repair Scotland.
