Dumfries couple Jamie and Cassie Milligan are thrilled to have taken over the helm of a Kingholm Quay restaurant and are looking forward to the official reopening of the popular eaterie tomorrow.
The pair are the proud new tenants of The Swan, and are delighted to have secured a number of jobs in the process.
Former general manager of the Holiday Inn in the town, Jamie, 35, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be able to keep a business that’s been well established in the town going, and we’re looking forward to the challenges ahead.
“The Swan has always had a great reputation and Cassie and I are hoping to take that to the next level.
“We are extremely excited, and a little nervous, but we can’t wait to get started with our plans.
“I’ve been in hospitality my entire career so be able to take on The Swan is fantastic.
“It will be somewhere for the whole family to come and enjoy what’s on offer.
