Dumbarton man with epilepsy who has daily seizures ruled 'fit to work' by DWP

A Dumbarton man who lives with severe epilepsy and has daily seizures, has hit out at the DWP who have insisted he is fit to work.

Ryan Connelly from the Brucehill area, said the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) assessed him as having limited capability to work, despite him saying his deteriorating condition makes this impossible.

The 47-year-old also said he is has racked up over £2,500 of debt after claiming he receives lower benefits than he should have over the last two-and-a-half years, the Lennox Herald reports.
