Coach K’s incredible, legendary, incomparable college coaching career is over.
And it ended with Duke’s longtime rival, North Carolina, finishing it with a Final Four win for the ages, an 81-77 victory that sent the Tar Heels to the final against Kansas.
That’s the same North Carolina team that defeated Mike Krzyzewski’s squad last month in the coach’s final game at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
So of course college hoops fans everywhere had to bring out the memes to dunk on the coach who fell just short of another national championship and a storybook ending to his final season.
