Dujon Sterling has detailed Calvin Bassey's words that helped sell him on Rangers.
Michael Beale swooped to land the former Chelsea defender on a pre-contract as one of his first summer signings after seeing off lots of interest in England for the full-back. He faced the media earlier today as he opened up on his talks with the boss over a move north, the key reasons for joining and Bassey's influence.
Speaking to the Rangers Review about his switch to Ibrox and the deciding factors in choosing this project over others, he said: "Europe is number one and Rangers is a big club with a big fanbase. I can see the togetherness at the club and I spoke to Calvin [Bassey] before I arrived because we are close - he said it was one of the best places to come. With his words, the gaffer's words and the club in general - I had to come.
