Dubliners can get their wills written for free this month.
The RNLI has teamed up with local solicitors for this initiative based in and around Dublin and Cork. Those aged 55 and up can avail of this service free of charge.
All people have to do is call or email one of the participating solicitors shown in adverts in the local press or listed on the website before 5pm on Wednesday, May 31. The initiative comes as a way to encourage people to consider leaving a gift to help the RNLI continue their vital work – although there is no obligation to do so.

The RNLI depend on gifts in wills for 3 out of 5 lifeboat launches but most adults in Ireland haven’t written their will. A spokesman for the campaign said: "A gift in your will (or legacy gift) is a great way to help a charity you care for because it costs nothing now but can have a real impact in the future.
"Appointments are limited and fill up quickly, so we recommend calling to book your Free Wills appointment sooner rather than later to avoid missing this opportunity to put your affairs in order while doing something good for charity."
