Dublin weather: 'Stormy' conditions could hit Ireland as low pressure to dominate

A grim forecast is in store as a low-pressure system could be heading towards Ireland.

The phenomenon will bring "stormy weather" as the country will be hammered by heavy rain and gusty winds. Weather Alerts Ireland warned: "A risk of some stormy weather late Sunday into Monday morning. Potential for very strong winds and heavy rain!"

Today will be mostly dry with the occasional bright spells. There will be some outbreaks of rain in the evening and daytime temperatures will be 14 to 16 degrees.
