It's a lovely sunny but don't expect it to last because Met Eireann are predicting the weather to turn with a wet and windy week in store.
We've enjoyed a few days of unusually warm weather for this time of year but the forecasters reckon temperatures will drop as low as 1C tonight as a persistent band of rain draws in. And looking ahead, the forecast for the rest of the week shows there will be little let up in the rainy conditions.
Saturday will start off sunny before it becomes windy and showery from mid-morning. Showers will spread eastwards to all areas with some heavy with hail or thunder possible with highest temperatures of 9 to 10C.

Sunday will continue much the same with bands of showers spreading eastwards although there will also be some sunny spells.
Looking ahead to the rest of the week, the forecasters say it will be unsettled with some wet and windy weather on the way. Here's the national forecast for the days ahead.
Monday
Bright or sunny spells and some further showers, although these will be mainly in the west and north and will mostly die out through the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 5 to 8C with moderate to fresh westerly breezes.
Persistent rain will gradually spread northeastwards to all areas on Monday night with freshening southeasterly winds. Westerly breezes will gradually die out as the showers along western coasts become more isolated and confined to Ulster as temperatures drop to as low as 1C.
Tuesday
Tuesday morning will be wet and quite windy with persistent rain. The rain will clear eastwards later with showers following from the west with fresh, gusty westerly winds. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12C.
Wednesday
Wednesday will be cold, blustery and showery with fresh to strong westerly winds and highest temperatures of 5 to 8C.
Further outlook
Thursday looks like being a wet day with colder, showery conditions look set to follow for Friday and the weekend.
