Met Eireann have extended a weather advisory with heavy rain set to cause disruption.
They said: "Remaining unsettled for much of this week with spells of heavy rain or showers, possibly causing further disruption." The advisory is now valid until today as the horrible weather continues.
Today will see Sunny spells and scattered showers today, some heavy with the chance of isolated thunderstorms. Becoming mostly dry later as showers largely die out. Highest temperatures of 17 or 18 degrees in light to moderate northeast winds.

Here is the forecast for the rest of the week.
Tonight: "A dry start to tonight but rain will spread from the northeast overnight. Lowest temperatures of 13 or 14 degrees in light northwesterly winds.
Tomorrow: "Tomorrow morning will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain. The rain will clear by afternoon, leaving a few showers and sunny spells for the rest of the day. Highest temperatures of 18 or 19 degrees in a light to moderate northwest breeze.
Tomorrow night: "Friday night will be largely dry with clear spells and just the odd light shower. Some mist and fog will develop in light northerly or variable winds. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees.
Saturday: "Will be a dry day for most with isolated showers and sunny periods. However, it may turn cloudier in the southwest towards nightfall. Highest temperatures of 18 to 21 degrees in a light to moderate southeasterly breeze.
Sunday: "Will be a wet day with widespread heavy rain and moderate southerly winds. Highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees.
Monday: "Will bring continued outbreaks of rain, with the potential for some further heavy bursts. Similar temperatures with highs of 17 to 20 degrees.
Further outlook: "It will remain unsettled for the early days of next week with the potential for further spells of heavy rain."
