A major change is on the way after Dublin basked in glorious spring sunshine and mild weather in the last few days.
However, if the sunny spells inspired you to get your garden furniture out then you might want to hold off for a bit, an independent weather forecaster said. Alan O'Reilly of Carlow Weather warned: "The weather models are showing a late blast of cold Northerly air heading our way from Sunday for a few days!"
Met Eireann warned that high pressure will come to an end as unsettled weather will dominate by the weekend. The national forecaster said: "High pressure largely dominating through the rest of the working week bringing generally dry and settled conditions. Becoming more unsettled by the weekend."

This will be a huge change after parts of Ireland saw near 20-degree weather this week with plenty of dry and sunny spells. Today, Dubliners will wake up to a dull morning but low cloud, mist, and fog will soon clear to leave a dry and mostly sunny day. Temperatures will be around 11 and 13 degrees.
Tonight will be dry and mostly clear but cloud will increase at dawn. The minimum temperatures will be 5 to 7 degrees.
Tomorrow will be cloudier overall with a few light showers. But sunny spells are expected to break through at times, especially later in the afternoon and evening. The top daytime temperatures will be around 12 degrees.
There is no further forecast for Dublin but here's what the national outlook says:
Wednesday night
"A few showers will affect southern and southwestern counties on Wednesday night, but it will stay dry elsewhere with long clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees in mostly moderate easterly winds, fresh at times near the south coast.
Thursday
"Dry and sunny to begin on Thursday with some fair-weather cloud bubbling up during the afternoon. Feeling cool though in the mostly moderate easterly winds which will be fresh to strong along the south coast. Top temperatures ranging 11 to 14 or 15 degrees, highest in the west.
Thursday night
"Mostly dry and clear on Thursday night with lowest temperatures between 2 and 6 degrees with light to moderate northeast breezes.
Friday
"Many areas will be dry with spells of sunshine to begin on Friday. Cloud will tend to increase through the morning with some patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle developing through the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures will range 12 to 15 degrees in moderate to fresh northeasterly winds.
Friday night
"Mostly cloudy in the east and south with patchy rain and drizzle. Drier and clearer for a time in the west and northwest but cloud increasing here too overnight. Lows of 4 to 8 degrees, coldest under the clearer breaks in the west and northwest in light to moderate northeast breezes.
Saturday
"Current indications for Saturday suggest a mostly cloudy day with showers or longer spells of rain. Rather cool with highs of 9 to 13 degrees in light to moderate northerly breezes."
