As Storm Oscar barrels across Spain bringing heavy downpours and powerful gusts, Ireland will also see a major weather change this week.
The country has been enjoying a long streak of sunny and dry weather over the last few weeks. However, this dry spell could come to an end as the remnants of Storm Oscar could hit Ireland.
Alan O'Reilly of Carlow Weather said: "Latest GFS brings the remains of that storm Oscar nearby with showers Friday, weekend and early next week. However it then brings high pressure back in.

"Interesting to watch as models struggle with the storm development and track." He added in a separate tweet: "Plenty of sun Wednesday also but cloud starts to increase Thursday with a risk of showers Friday, mainly in the South.
"Weekend possibly showery also but still uncertain. Next week looks likely to see us in a battleground between high and low and the winner is very uncertain."
Today, Dubliners will wake up to a lovely sunny day with long spells of sunshine. The highest temperatures will be around 17 or 18 degrees.
Tonight will be dry with long, clear spells with patches of mist and fog possible. Temperatures will hit the lows of 9 to 11 degrees.
Tomorrow will be dry and sunny with the highest temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees. There is no further forecast for Dublin but here's what the national outlook says:
Wednesday night
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Dry with long clear spells. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in a light easterly breeze.
Thursday
"Remaining dry and sunny, with the sunshine turning hazy at times. Highest temperatures ranging 16 to 24 degrees east to west, with a light to moderate easterly breeze.
Thursday night
"Mostly dry with clear spells. Cloud will thicken in the south and southwest overnight, with patchy light rain or drizzle possible in the southwest by morning. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 14 degrees in a light to moderate easterly breeze.
Friday
"Most places will see another dry and sunny day on Friday. It will turn cloudier at times and showers are possible in the southwest. Highest temperatures of 17 to 25 degrees, warmest in the west, with a light to moderate easterly wind continuing.
Friday night
"Mostly dry with clear spells. Becoming cloudy in the south and southwest with rain or showers developing later. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 15 degrees with a light easterly wind.
Saturday
"Cloud and showery rain is likely to extend northwards over the country on Saturday. Highest temperatures of 17 to 22 degrees with a light to moderate east to southeast wind."
