Dublin weather: Best day to hit the beach and when will heatwave come to an end

While Dublin is experiencing some glorious weather today, the official heatwave is kicking off on Wednesday this week.

Temperatures will surpass 25C ahead of give more days of lovely heat. Parts of Ireland will see temperatures hit 27C on Wednesday, however Met Eireann have warned that the heat may become 'uncomfortable'.

The forecaster said: "High pressure will continue to bring settled, mainly dry and sunny conditions. Very warm or hot as well through the rest of the week and weekend with temperatures widely in the mid to high twenties. Uncomfortably warm during the nights too."
