A little vintage shop on Capel Street is like stepping into your Granny’s house as a child.
Dublin Vintage Shop located in the city centre takes you back to the good old days when there was little worries in life with the antique ornaments, cassette players and the typical old pictures that every grandparent seemed to have displayed in their living room.
Shop assistant, Gidi Lauraitas told Dublin Live that the store mainly focuses on selling stuff from the eighties and nineties.

He said: “We mostly sell vintage stuff from the eighties and nineties, vinyl's are great sellers at the minute.
“Anything that sold well in the eighties and nineties is coming back and selling well again.
“We’ve a few polaroid cameras too. Even Japanese, good quality and well preserved radios are popular too.”
From jewellery to teapots, the shop really does stock your Granny’s favourites and it takes us back to a time when we were told not to touch them in case they broke.
“People come in and say they remember having these things years ago, especially the toy cars,” Gidi continued.
“Grown-up people buy them again because they remember them from their childhood.”
Dublin Vintage Shop gets their products from different places all over Europe.
Gidi said: “We have suppliers in Eastern Europe, in Lithuania. We get a lot of clothes from Germany too. They already have an idea what we want.
“We get our stuff from Ireland too, so if someone moves house, if someone dies and wants to get rid of the stuff or if a pub is closing down, we get their pictures.
“We bargain and get a good price.”
