The Irish government has announced plans to construct a national cricket stadium at the national sports campus located in Blanchardstown, close to Dublin. The stadium will be utilized to host matches during the 2030 Twenty20 World Cup, which Ireland will co-host alongside England and Scotland.
According to the government's statement, the initial phase of the facility's development is set to be finalized by 2028. This phase will encompass the construction of the main stadium, which will have a seating capacity of 4,000 spectators.
