A Dublin taxi driver has been praised for his kind gesture to a mother and her two children whose holiday flight was cancelled at Dublin Airport.
The woman had arrived at the airport on Sunday morning ahead of time for a flight to Greece for a trip of a lifetime with her two children only to be left disappointed and told to come back on Monday for a replacement flight.
The woman's friend posted about the ordeal on Twitter. It appears the flight was cancelled by the holiday tour operator rather than the airport or any of the Irish airlines.

The woman posted on Sunday: "My friend has been in Dublin airport since this morning with two kids to go to Greece! They have been sent home! The kids are distraught!" It's understood the woman was at the airport with her children as early as 5am.
She added: "The taxi man that picked them up to go home didn’t charge them he said they have been through enough! Always good people in Ireland."
Other Twitter users were quick to praise the taxi driver's kindness to the family who "don't live too far from Dublin Airport."
One wrote: "Pretty decent of the driver to do that. He’s not alone though, quite a few airport taxi drivers have done the same over the past week or so. Yet u wont hear about it in any media outlet."
Another added: "Lot of good taxi drivers out there, has similar experience myself years back except had to get from town to Beaumont hospital, partner had medical emergency at home at the time and I was in a panic getting from work to Beaumont, refused to take any payment from me."
The woman and her kids were back at Dublin Airport on Monday hoping to get a replacement flight to Greece to belatedly start their dream holiday.
