A Dublin restaurant is set become the first takeaway in the country to introduce completely reusable packaging from next week.
Camile Thai on Pearse Street won the Best Sustainability award at the 2023 Just Eat Takeaway Awards this week. And From next Monday 13 March, Camile Thai Kitchen's customers will have the option to choose to reuse when they order their favourite signature dish, with no deposit required.
Customers then have 14 days to return the packaging to the restaurant, where it will be reused. Daniel Greene, Managing Director of Camile Thai Kitchen said: "We are proud to be the first takeaway in Ireland to offer our customers the opportunity to choose to reuse their packaging with Vytal’s innovative technology.
