Dublin GAA star Carla Rowe has explained how she ended up on Manchester United's Instagram page with new signing Wout Weghorst.
Eagle eyed social media users spotted Rowe on the Instagram page and Rowe jokingly revealed she was not joining the club.
Initially taking to social media, Rowe said: "Few new tips on headers gained.. bringing it to @LadiesFootball very soo"
But Speaking to the Irish Independent at the launch of the LIDL Ladies National Football Leagues, opened up on how she ended up on the Instagram page.
She said: "I was at the ‘United-City game on Saturday and did the stadium tour on Sunday. We were just down at the bottom pitchside and he was out getting his official photos done for the club and came over and did a photo of us.
“It was pure random. There was a few little kids on the tour and I was like ‘move kids!’ but said politely of course!"
Rowe's Dublin side take on All-Ireland Champions Meath this weekend in their league opener.
