Imelda May has announced three Vicar Street shows as part of an Irish tour this summer.
The singer will play the venue on from 13-15 May 2022.
The Made To Love tour has been announced ahead of Imelda's highly anticipated sixth studio album 11 Past The Hour.
The album will be the performer's first piece of new music in four years and is a record that is described as brimming with sensuality, emotional intelligence, spirituality and intuition, showcasing Imelda at her "most authentic".
11 Past The Hour features collaborators like Ronnie Wood, Noel Gallagher, Miles Kane and Niall McNamee, and with inspired contributions from feminist thinkers and activists such as Gina Martin and Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu.
Speaking about the upcoming tour, Imelda said: "I cannot wait to see you all again, to dance and sing together, to connect and feel the sparkle in a room where music makes us feel alive and elevated for a while. A magical feeling we can only get from live music. Let’s go!"
A Daily Mail review of Imelda's new album described the piece of work as "crying out to be performed live".
"She could get a party started in a convent," they wrote.
As well as tracks from 11 Past The Hour, the Made To Love tour will see Imelda perform some of her most celebrated songs from her impressive repertoire.
Imelda's last headline tour was in 2017, which received rave reviews.
The singer, who was born and raised in The Liberties, has become one of the country's most famed female artists.
Discovered by Jools Holland, she has gone on to perform with iconic artists such as U2, Lou Reed, Sinead O Connor, Robert Plant, Van Morrison, Jack Savoretti and Elvis Costello.
She has also featured on recent albums and live tours with Jeff Beck, Jeff Goldblum and Ronnie Wood.
Imelda released her debut poetry EP Slip of the Tongue last summer which was met with phenomenal praise. She received global recognition for her poem You Don’t Get To Be Racist and Irish which was used for the ReThink Ireland campaign.
