Dublin shop where winning EuroMillions ticket was sold revealed

The shop where a Dubliner bought a winning EuroMillions ticket has been revealed.

One lucky punter scooped the huge prize of €500,000. The winning numbers were 02, 04, 05, 06, and 50.

The winning ticket was sold in Tesco Clearwater in Janelle Shopping Centre in Finglas.

The winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place. They should contact the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize

As there was no winner of the €65 million jackpot, this Friday night's EuroMillions will have a top prize of €80 million.

The €500,000 prize was the second major jackpot win this week after Tuesday afternoon's Daily Million top prize was also won.

The winner has become the 12th National Lottery millionaire of 2022 and the second player in Mayo to win a seven-figure lottery prize following the record €19.06 million Lotto jackpot win in Castlebar in January.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “Two of our players in Dublin and Mayo had quite the start to the month on Tuesday! On the same day, a EuroMillions player in Dublin scooped €500,000 in the midweek EuroMillions Plus draw while a Daily Million player in Mayo became Ireland’s newest millionaire after winning the top prize of €1 million in the 2pm draw."
