Dublin Pride 2022 events and things to do this June

Dublin Pride 2022 festivities take place for the duration of June, consisting of plenty of great Pride events in the capital from art to dancing to family friendly celebrations.

Dublin Pride is set to swing back in style as a full-scale in-person series of events in 2022 after two years of restricted and online celebrations.

The parade marches down O'Connell Street on Saturday, June 25 with a number of noteworthy events and parties taking place during the month of June.

Here are the 10 best things to do during Dublin Pride 2022.

HIJINX: A Trans Cabaret

Taking place on Friday, June 17 at A4 Sounds Studios, HIJIYNX: A Trans Cabaret will be a celebrations of joy and mischief, showcasing six trans and non-binary artists and performers.

Party Scene

Created by Philip Connaughton and Phillip McMahon, Party Scene is a piece of dance theatre taking place from June 22 until July 2 in Dublin's Project Arts Centre.

The show takes a unique look at Ireland's underground sex party scene and the emotional impacts that has on those who partake.

Haus of WIG Live

Taking place at The Workman's Club on Wednesday, June 22, Haus of WIG presents rag performances, lip syncs, live music, comedy, games, dancing and general merriment for just €12 a ticket.

Drag Bingo at The Square Tallaght

The central mall at The Square Tallaght will come alive with music, prizes and great craic as drag queen Carrie Deway brings the fine people of Tallaght drag bingo on Thursday, June 23.

Mark T Cox at The Sugar Club

International cabaret star Mark T Cox returns to Dublin for a one off show at The Sugar Club on Leeson Street and will bring the audience plenty of camp pop tunes, naughty stories and more fun.

Dublin Pride Parade 2022

The 2022 Dublin Pride Parade is finally back in its full glory, marching down O'Connell Street, past Liberty hall, over the Liffey to Merrion Square where there will be plenty of family friendly fun taking place.

The parade begins at the Garden of Remembrance at 12pm on Saturday, June 25.

Victoria and Davina's Pride Party at Vicar Street

Following on from the parade on June 25, drag superstars Victoria Secret and Davina Devine will host their epic Pride Part at Dublin's Vicar Street.

Kicking off at 6pm and featuring hours upon hours of pop music, the party promises fantastic DJ sets and phenomenal drag performances.

Mother Dublin Pride Block Party

Due to its huge popularity every year, the Mother Dublin Pride Block Party will take place this year as a two day festival of pride celebrations at Collins Barracks on June 25 and 26.

Headlined by pop star Rina Sawayama, the two day event will feature things like drag aerobics, Mother DJs and plenty of Pride themed fun.

El Styras Pride Pop Party

Also taking place on June 25, El Styras Pride Pop Party in Jack's Upstairs on Capel Street will feature non-stop pop music, 80s synth, 90s dance and 00s divas.

Queer Rock N Roll at Fibber McGee's

An independent Queer Rock N Roll night will take place at Fibber McGee's on Parnell Street on Monday, June 27.

DJs will spin plenty of punk, goth, EBM, 70s, 80s and 90s. Plus, there will be Rock N Roll drag performances from artists including Lavender, Krystal Queer and Coco Ri.
