Dublin Port Company issues warning to swimmers to 'think water safety' over the Bank Holiday weekend

Dublin Port Company (DPC) has reminded people to think about water safety over the Bank Holiday weekend, as people take to the water for leisure.

Last month, the Port launched a new water safety awareness campaign, bringing comedy stars Darren Conway and Joe McGucken aboard to help spread the message.

The news comes after new research by the Port showed that half of the Irish public are not well attuned to water safety.
