A Dublin pharmacist says that vaccinating against the double threat of Covid-19 and seasonal flu is putting significant pressure on his staff.
Tomas Conefrey runs Conefrey CarePlus on Pearse Street, a busy city centre pharmacy. He previously told Dublin Live that people should avoid stockpiling items as essential supplies including Calpol and Nurofen risk running low.
The pharmacist runs clinics every Monday and Friday afternoon in order to facilitate Covid-19 and flu vaccinations. While he also tries his best to accommodate people outside of these hours, he says that a constant stream of people seeking booster doses should be avoided in store.
