The National Lottery has revealed which Irish counties are the luckiest when it comes to winning big on scratch cards and online instant win games.
Statistics compiled by the National Lottery on scratch card and instant win games from the past two years show that since 2020, more than 300 people throughout Ireland won a high-tier prize, combining for a total in excess of €20million. High-tier prizes are those that reach over €15,000 for scratch cards, or in the case of an online win – over €10,000.
The data was released as the National Lottery launches its range of festive scratch cards, with which players can win up to €100,000. Ireland’s capital and most populous city, Dublin, topped the chart, with 78 players claiming €4,115,000 in winnings.
