A mum-of-two facing eviction has told of her fears for her special needs son if they are made homeless.
Leanne Farrell, 30, has had a notice to quit her home of five years in Ballyfermot, Dublin hanging over her since last September. Now with the Government’s controversial decision this week to lift the eviction ban, she has been told she must vacate the house by April 1.
Leanne’s younger son Riley turns five on the day they have to leave and she said she’s “terrified” of what might lie ahead. She told the Sunday Mirror: “Carson is 10 and Riley is four, he turns five on the date we have to quit.
