Dublin mum tells RTE host Joe Duffy she has been 'requested' to pay €60 for child's confirmation

RTE Liveline listeners have heard parents complain that they have been "requested" to pay up to €60 for their child to make their confirmation in Sandyford.

Speaking on RTE Liveline on Thursday, one mother, who was not named, told Joe Duffy that she received a letter from Sandyford Parish.

She said: "It’s a new one for me, you have to give money to the catholic church to make your confirmation."
