A Dublin-based Lotto player is walking around today without realising they’re the winner of a whopping €250,000 prize and they have just weeks left to claim it.
The Lotto rules state that if a winner does not come forward to claim their prize within the 90 days that follow the win, it becomes null and void.
Therefore, National Lottery is continuing to appeal to Lotto Plus 2 players in the Ringsend area of Dublin city to urgently check their tickets as a Lotto Plus 2 prize worth €250,000 from the November 19 draw.

The winning Normal Play ticket was purchased on Monday, November 14, at the Maxol service station, Ringsend Road, Dublin 4.
The claim deadline for this prize is close of business on Monday, February 20.
The winning numbers of the Lotto Plus 2 draw on Saturday, November 19 were: 01, 02, 08, 18, 31, 36, and bonus was 44.
Speaking about the upcoming deadline, a National Lottery spokesperson said: "We are hoping to hear from a Lotto player in Dublin who won the Lotto Plus 2 top prize of €250,000 in the 19th November draw after purchasing their ticket at Maxol, on Ringsend Road, Dublin 4.
"This was a Normal Play ticket which means that the player specifically chose their numbers for this draw. As ticketholders have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize, the last date to claim this prize is Monday 20th February so we are encouraging all our players who purchased their ticket at the Ringsend service station to check their old tickets very carefully.
"If you are the winner, please be sure to sign the back of your winning ticket and immediately contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and we will make arrangements for you to claim your prize."
