Aldi will create 350 permanent jobs and an additional 550 construction jobs under new ambitious plans for the Dublin area.
The retailer is currently assessing 25 different sites in Dublin as they plan to open 11 new stores on a phased basis. Aldi bosses have already agreed to launch a new store in Adamstown, while plans for the other locations remain ongoing.

The supermarket chain navigated the economic challenges of Covid-19 and continues to smash key targets. It is favoured by customers due to its affordable produce, with a survey revealing that it stands as Ireland’s top supermarket for the “full trolley shop.”
Aldi is currently recruiting 450 sales assistants across its existing stores nationwide. The retailer is seeking employees ahead of the busiest time of the year in the retail sector.
Aldi pays all their staff a "living wage" of at least €12.90 per hour - which is €2.40 above the national minimum wage. The chain currently employs 4,650 people in Ireland across 154 stores nationwide. They also collaborate with over 300 Irish suppliers to support local ingredients.
