Job hunters take note as Irish Rail is looking to hire communication service officers with roles available in Dublin.
The transport firm is hiring onboard customer service officers for a salary starting from €31,000 to €41,000.
According to Irish Rail, it is the role of customer service officer to provide face to face customer service excellence on its rail services as well as providing an onboard channel for ticket purchase and first class sales/upgrades where applicable.

The job responsibilities include:
- On-board information and customer support
- Providing reliable and improved assistance for mobility-impaired customers
- Ensure seat reservations are operational and observed on-board
- Providing an onboard channel for ticket sales and first class upgrades
- Assisting customers during in-service disruption situations, including arranging connections and transfers
Irish Rail are looking for candidates with:

There will be a number of phases in the selection process which will include initial online assessments, competency-based interview, medical and reference checking.
