The HSE is recruiting student paramedics to join the National Ambulance Service.
The national healthcare service is offering a starting salary of €29,341 per annum for the roles that are available nationwide. Successful applicants will be required to work in any division of the NAS and can/will be re-assigned between locations.
Student paramedics will work an average of 39 hours a week and the job involves shift work. They will be expected to be available for duty outside of the rostered hours as and when the need may arise.

The recruitment process will include the following stages: application form, supervised verbal evaluation and logical thinking testing, eligibility sift in line with UCC course entry requirements, and a competency-based interview.
Eager applicants have been urged to start gathering a number of documents that will be required during the testing/assessment stage of the hiring process now. The tests for the campaign have been provisionally scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 2, and Friday, March 3, 2023.
