Galway and Kerry fans hoping to stay in Dublin during the weekend of the All-Ireland senior football final are looking at expensive hotel prices in the city.
Galway face off with Kerry on Saturday, July 24 with thousands of fans from both counties expected to flock to Dublin's Croke Park for the match. However, fans may have to jump on the train and head straight home as hotel prices sky rocket for the weekend.
One particular five star hotel in Dublin has its prices set as high as €1,400 for a single night. The minimum that a family of four will be able to get a hotel for is currently around €494, but then when you include match tickets into the cost price, you're nearly doubling the overall fee.

The average hotel price currently varies widely from between €500 up to €900, with current rates in constant flux as slots are taken and demand soars. Five star hotels in Dublin will set you back between €1,121 and €1,420.
Ticket allocation has also been a hot topic of conversation as of late with Galway GAA county board chairman Paul Bellew speaking to Galway Bay FM on Monday morning to explain how it will work for Galway fans.
He said: "We're expecting our allocation today, we expect it will be in the region of 14 or 15,000. As ever, the vast majority of tickets will distributed through the clubs. We just need to get that message out there - they won't be available through general sale or via stadiums. You also have clubs, referees, delegates and so on."
When asked of he was surprised about Galway's place in the All-Ireland final, he said: "Yes and no. We're been in four minor hurling finals, three minor football finals, we've been in an under 20 hurling final, an under 20 football final, we were in two All-Ireland hurling finals and now an All-Ireland football final.
"We're the only county since 2018 that has put that six together. We're getting our things right on the pitch and getting our things right off the pitch.
"I've said it before and I'll say it again - typically the people who deserve to get a ticket always end up getting one," he added.
