Dublin Fire Brigade have warned the public of the dangers of car fires through shocking images.
Staff confirmed on Twitter that a car blaze broke out on Thursday evening. Phibsboro firefighters rushed to the scene of the incident.
They revealed that Finglas firefighters also gave medical attention to a person at the same location. Staff confirmed that the incident was unrelated to the car blaze.

They wrote: "Firefighters from Finglas along with their ambulance treated a patient in the background at a separate incident."
The blaze was successfully extinguished by firefighters. Separately, Dublin Fire Brigade also reported attending to a vacant house fire in Tallaght this week.
The incident required the services of two fire engines. The blaze broke out at an empty property in Rossfield.
