Dublin Fire Brigade has praised one of their long standing firefighters upon his retirement.
Staff took to Twitter and praised Brian McLoughlin on his tenure with the fire brigade. Brian worked in D Watch in both Donnybrook and Dolphin's Barn fire stations over the course of three decades.
Dublin Fire Brigade thanked him for his hard work and praised his sporting prowess. Brian is an avid swimmer and water polo player, having represented Dublin Fire Brigade in national competitions.

A series of photos show Brian surrounded by his fellow firefighters, as well as being awarded with a plaque. People congratulated him on Twitter as his 32 year career as a firefighter/paramedic came to a close.
