Multiple crews of firefighters have battled a blaze in a row of houses in the Lucan area, to the west of Dublin.
One house was severely damaged in the blaze, but firefighters successfully prevented the flames from spreading to neighbouring properties. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
In a tweet sent out late on Saturday night, Dublin Fire Brigade said: "Four crews of Firefighters from Tallaght and Dolphins Barn prevented the spread of a house fire to adjoining houses either side last night in Lucan.
"BA [Breathing apparatus] crews fought the fire offensively. While the house was extensively damaged, there were no injuries."
