Dublin entrepreneur launches new driving app to give learners 'fighting chance'

A new driving app has been launched in order to help people with the learning process in Ireland.

Aaron Farrelly was inspired to create the Virtual Driver Instructor app during the first lockdown after seeing people's driving progress unravelled by the Covid-19 restrictions. His business partner Ross Smith is an ADI driving instructor who has been instrumental to the app's success.

It contains over 40 videos which provide people with clear instructions on how to move and manoeuvre a car, as well as covering all the theory questions that may be asked on the day of the test. The app was launched in recent weeks and already boasts 1000 downloads, with Aaron keen to receive feedback from learners who have used it.
