A Dublin dog shelter has issued a plea for help due to major overcrowding in their facility.
The Dublin County Dog Shelter currently has 58 pooches in their care but only have capacity for 40 and have no kennels left.
In a social media post, the group explained between calls for surrenders are coming in everyday and strays arriving all the time, they are out of space.

"We are bursting with dogs," they said. "We have so many lovely dogs that just need a second chance. Please please consider adopting if you are interested in getting a dog.
"Dogs are a 10+ year commitment so remember that when thinking of getting one."
They also appealed to rescues who have any capacity to take even one dog to contact them.
"If you are interested in adopting any of our dogs please contact us on 087 391 4008, WhatsApp message, Facebook messenger or Instagram," the group said. "Please keep sharing our posts we need to find homes for our dogs!"
