A young man has died in a horror collision involving a motorbike and car in Dublin.
It happened on the R126 Hearse Road at the junction with Cobbe’s lane near Donabate around 9.30pm on Saturday.
The motorcyclist, aged in his early 20s, was treated by emergency services and was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later. He was removed to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown where a post mortem will take place.

The road was closed for a time for a technical examination by forensic collision investigation but has since reopened to traffic.
Gardai have launched an appeal for witnesses to contact them.
A spokesperson said: “Gardai are appealing for witnesses following a fatal traffic collision in north County Dublin on Saturday, August 6, 2022.
“Investigating gardai are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
“Any road users who were travelling in the area at the time with camera (including dash cam) footage, are asked to make this available to gardai.”
