Dublin Live paid a visit to the Artane Coolock Family Resource Centre to see what went on, and we managed to catch the end of an interesting chair exercise class taking place.
The Artane Coolock Family Resource Centre is one of over 100 centres in Ireland that is funded by child and family agency Tusla.
The centre, which is located on Gracefield Road in Artane, offers an array of services to the local community including adult education, courses, counselling and after school programmes for kids.

The centre's manager Valerie Hegarty told Dublin Live: "We have things going on for every age group here from the cradle to the grave. We do a lot of adult education from computers, art, flower arranging and exercise classes.
"There is also a free community cafe. It's just to get the community to come in and use the centre. We have coffee and tea for people."
One of those services is chair exercise, designed specifically for those in the community who might have limited mobility.
Popping into the end of one of the classes, we caught up with the teacher Rachel Carberry who told us what the classes entail.
She revealed: "It's for all ages, all abilities and all mobilities. It's for connection most importantly.
"We do every Tuesday and Wednesday. It goes on for an hour and we do stretching, mobility, muscle strength, joint movement, joint jigglers, warm up and cool down.
"The connection is really the best. We do a bit of meditation.
"It's run through the centre so you can just sign up to the centre. We do online as well, so we have people at home and people in the centre."
Classes run for six weeks at a time. To find out when you can book onto the next course of chair exercise classes, you can call the centre directly.
